Dr. LU Diannan received his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2000 and 2006, respectively. He worked as postdoctoral researcher in Tsinghua University from 2006 to 2008. Dr. Lu jointed Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University in 2008. In 2011 to 2012, he worked as a visiting scholar at Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in Princeton University. Now Dr. Lu is an Associate Professor and Vice-dean of Department of Chemical Engineering. His research interest is in the field of thermodynamics of complex system, with special interests in 1) nano-flow; 2) biocatalyst; 3) biomacromolecules; and 4) bioremediation of contaminated soil. Dr. Lu teaches Physical Chemistry and Thermodynamics for undergraduates and Advanced Thermodynamics for graduates.  By now, he has published over 70 SCI-cited papers, 5 reviews, 4 book chapters, and 17 authorized patents. He is awarded National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of PR China (2008), Tsinghua 211 Project (2012), High-Caliber Talents Project of Beijing Municipal Institutions (2013), Best Teaching Skill Award (First Prize) and some awards of international conferences.
