Biografía
Dr. Hamouda is a professor of English literature at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. She received her Masters and PhD from Alexandria University in 1986 and 1991, respectively. She is also director of the Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Her previous management posts have included the following:
• Chairperson of the Department of English Language and Literature, Alexandria University
• Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Pharos University in Alexandria
• Director of the Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies, Library of Alexandria
