About Me

Adam Klivans is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his PhD from MIT and was an NSF postdoctoral fellow at Harvard. His research interests include the theory of machine learning and computational complexity. His research centers around provably efficient algorithms for core supervised learning tasks involving neural networks and graphical models.

Professor Klivans received an NSF CAREER award for his research and was the Program Committee co-Chair for the 2009 Conference on Learning Theory (COLT). He serves as an editor for the open-access Theory of Computing journal.
