About Me

Alex Kowalski is a doctoral student with the Institute for Work and Employment Research. He is interested in how technology will shape the future of work and the social processes that influence income inequality. Alex received a master’s degree in city planning from UC-Berkeley, where he focused on community and economic development. Prior to his time at Berkeley, he was an economics reporter for Bloomberg News in Washington, D.C.
