Andrew A. Szarejko is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Government at Georgetown University. He studies international relations and U.S. foreign policy. His dissertation focuses on the origins of militarized disputes between the United States and American Indian groups. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program at Georgetown, he received a B.A. in political science and international studies from the University of Miami (FL). He has worked at a number of think tanks in the Washington, D.C., area, including the Bipartisan Policy Center and the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism.
