Christine Riordan

About Me

Christine Riordan is a PhD Student with the Institute for Work and Employment Research. Her research focuses on changing employment relationships and implications for the quality of jobs. Currently, she is investigating the changing nature of work in the legal profession. While undertaking her Master’s in Urban Planning at the NYU Wagner School of Public Service, Christine also worked as a research assistant for a project that examined skill acquisition among immigrant workers in low-wage residential construction jobs. Previously, she worked as a policy analyst for the National Employment Law Project, where she focused on policy strategies to upgrade low wage jobs and address unemployment, and has experience in community and union organizing. Christine is a member of the Labor and Employment Relations Association.
