Cori Lorts, MPH, RD, is a PhD student at Arizona State University in the Physical Activity, Nutrition and Wellness program. Her research focuses on health communication and its role in changing behavior. She has published on communication in the healthcare setting, and is currently examining effective ways to communicate nutrition information through print materials. As an adjunct faculty member, she has taught undergraduate courses in community nutrition and nutrition communications. Cori received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Arizona State University and a Master in Public Health Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to coming to ASU, she worked in both the public and private sector in nutrition and health marketing.
