About Me

François Avet received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in materials Science from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. He is recently doing his PhD project on hydration of Limestone Calcined Clays Cement in the Laboratory of Construction Materials, EPFL, Switzerland. His main research area is hydration, microstructure and reactivity assessment of calcined clays as Supplementary Cementitious Materials.
