Hester Bijl is a full professor Computational Aerodynamics at the Delft University of Technology, the Dean of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering and a member of the Supervisory Board of ECN, the National Energy Research Centre. Her research encompasses computation of unsteady flows and fluid-structure interactions, acoustics and uncertainty quantification, for application in wind turbines, flexible smart wing configurations, and flapping flight. She teaches Aerodynamics (BSc), Computational Fluid and Solid Mechanics (Minor), and Computational Fluid-Structure Interaction (MSc).
