About Me

Jacqueline is a PhD Candidate at the Research Centre for Generational Health and Ageing at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Her PhD thesis focuses on the uptake of long-acting reversible contraception among a cohort of young women (aged 18-23 years), with a particular focus on understanding experiences of using contraception. More broadly, her research interests lie in understanding the complexity of pregnancy intention, contraceptive practices and experiences of unintended pregnancy. Jacqueline is a qualitative researcher, with experience in conducting and analysing semi-structured interviews, and the analysis of free-text comments from large health surveys.
