About Me

Jennifer Green is also a Research Scientist in the Sociotechnical Systems Research Center at MIT. Prior to joining MIT in January 2012, Jennifer was the head of logistics at Oxfam America and also had a long career working with Boeing and McDonnell Douglas on the International Space Station project. She holds degrees in Aerospace Engineering (Virginia Tech, ’86), and Humanitarian Logistics and Management (University of Lugano, Switzerland, ’11). Her research interests include sustainability, water and sanitation, humanitarian logistics, and long-term supportability of technologies in extreme environments.
