Kristín Jónsdóttir

Team leader of natural hazard monitoring at Icelandic Meteorological Office

Major works

My research focuses on seismology and volcanoes with the aim of understanding the structure and underlying processes in order to improve hazard assessments. Since volcanoes are complex, it is important to do a joint interpretation of different volcanic datasets to improve our understanding of their behavior and embrace broad collaboration.
