Nan Li is an Economist at the IMF's Research Department. She was previously at the IMF's Institute for Capacity Development. Nan has a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University, specializing in business cycles, international economics, and economic growth. Nan joined the IMF from the Ohio State University, where she was an assistant professor at the Department of Economics (2007-2011). Nan is also a research associate of the Globalization and Monetary Policy Institute at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Nan is a national of China.
