Natalia Peña is an M.A. candidate in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University, where she focuses on terrorism and sub-state violence. Prior to studying at Georgetown, Natalia previously worked in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office. Her research interests include regional security in the Middle East, Islam, and the evolution and use of radical ideology. She graduated from Boston College with a double major in Political Science and Islamic Civilization and Societies.
