About Me

Patrick Johnson received his bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Dayton in 2007 and his PhD from Washington University in St. Louis in 2012. After being a visiting professor at William Jewell College, Marquette University, and Georgetown University, Patrick is now an Assistant Teaching Professor at Georgetown.

Patrick's research interests span a range of topics from rogue ocean waves to the magnetic behavior of nanoparticles. When not doing physics, Patrick does trivia and improv comedy
