Esperanza graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (France) and received her Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine (France). She is an Assistant professor since 1994 at IMT Lille Douai and her current research work is focused on the sources of atmospheric aerosols and their health impact.
