Participants enrolled in the audited route who meet 80% participation in the program will receive a free certificate issued by the Javeriana University. If you wish to receive this certificate, register and fill out the active form in the course. Likewise, you can manage the paid certificate with Edx for the reference value published on this site.

All content of the academic program is an effort between Google and the Pontifical Javeriana University.

Learn to design services and experiences through innovative business models, understanding the new consumer habits of users based on the new normal in the tourism industry. Through tools and methodologies ( value proposition canvas, service design, customer experience, customer journey map, UX-UI, MVP, Google Analytics , Google Ads , among others ) skills will be developed to map trends, design differential value proposals , test prototypes and apply digital marketing strategies for the go to market of new differential services for tourism with a high physical component (physical and digital).

This course offers specialized tools and methodologies to design, communicate and implement value offers that transcend a product/service and generate memorable moments for the client, who no longer only connect with services but with memorable experiences (physical and digital), ranging from Far beyond simple use, they move towards an emotional and multisensory dimension, which involves all moments of user contact (before, during, after), to establish a real and lasting bond, highly influenced by digital marketing and social networks, based on a dynamic market and a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) environment.

  1. One of the objectives is to be able to learn about the various business models of the tourism industry and social and technological trends to create future scenarios.
  2. This course will teach you how to understand new consumer habits and the basic fundamentals of value proposition design as part of the Business Model Canvas.
  3. One of the main objectives is to understand the integrality of service design, customer experience and user experience to design proposals aimed at the tourism industry within a physical ecosystem. (physical and digital)
  4. People who certify in this course will have the ability to understand the use of digital marketing in communication and commercialization that will leverage the go to market strategy of tourist services.

Module 2. Design of value proposition for the tourism sector.

•Know the process of value creation in the tourism field.

•Design value proposals for each tourism business based on tools and methodologies.

Module 3. Design of services and experiences applied to tourism.

•Understand consumer behaviors based on different methodologies and tools for the design of services and experiences .

•Diagnose, map and compare services and experiences in the tourism sector.

•Design innovative services and experiences through customer journey and service blueprint, aligning the front- & back.

•Apply the lean start-up methodology and understand the phases of a service and experience maturation stage.

•Know and identify methodologies and tools to achieve growth, maturation and scalability in a structured way.
