The Vohra Wound Care Certification program was developed by Vohra Wound Physicians. Vohra is the largest group of wound physicians in the United States, with more than 20 years of clinical experience providing wound care services to more than 3000 skilled nursing facilities in 30 states, with thousands of patients treated every month. We believe every patient, family, nurse, and caregiver can be empowered through education. Hundreds of thousands of people have already benefited from this course and the knowledge we have shared.

As a physician-led group, we focus on delivering better outcomes by partnering with our facilities and building long-term sustainable relationships. Today, we support over 3,000 Skilled Nursing Facilities, visiting each weekly as expert wound consultants. In many cases, we also supply the patient’s wound care dressings through our integrated dressings program (DDP).We share our passion for wound care more broadly throughout the medical community –domestically and internationally –through our expert publications and technology platforms. Our mobile application includes an artificial-intelligence based wound care healing predictor. We created a dedicated online platform to deliver practical wound care education, which has been selected by many U.S. states as their preferred course.

Our committed physicians, long-standing partnerships, innovative technologies and relentless dedication to improving outcomes position Vohra to continue to serve more patients every day.

Completing the Vohra Wound Care Certification program will help you determine the best wound treatment for your patients and improve their quality of life while helping to take your wound care nursing career to the next level.

I’m not a nurse, am I still eligible to register for the Vohra Wound Care Certification?

Allied health professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and medical assistants are eligible to take the course and earn the certification. However, the continuing education credits are only offered to nurses, that includes RNs, LPNs, LVNs, ARNPs.

After taking and passing the course can I put WCC down as a title?

No, you will not be able to use WCC initials after completion of our course. After successful completion of the final exam, you will receive a certificate certifying you as a VWCN™, Vohra Wound Certified Nurse. This is different than a WCC certification which is a separate program with WCEI. Our program is not affiliated with any other national program. We are an independent national physician group with over 20 years of experience in wound care services. We developed this 100% on line program as an affordable option for nurses and other allied medical professionals to expand their knowledge and earn a nationally recognized certificate as well as continuing education credits, if applicable.
