What are Water Resources?
When we mention Water as a Water Resource, we refer to the availability of potable water for human consumption, and the management of fresh water to supply the world population. In critical regions such as some sectors of Africa and the Middle East, the lack of water for domestic use affects the quality of life and economic development of the population. On the other hand, there are other parts of the world, such as some areas of Latin America, where there is a greater source of water; which means that different countries do not have a unified distribution of this resource. In recent years, the global need for greater efficiency in decision-making for resource management that can meet the demand for water for sustainable development and a conscious use of available natural resources has been considered.
