Every program track available in the online master’s in applied behavior analysis includes hands-on and field-based experiences in or near the learner’s community. These are crucial opportunities for practicing skills learned in class, receiving feedback, and relating practice to theory.
The practical applied behavior analysis experience is also a chance to learn directly from board-certified supervisors and mentors at approved placement sites. Depending on the track chosen, learners can complete the full 1,500 fieldwork hours, required by the BCBA certification process, during the program; or they can complete 600 hours during the program and the remaining 900 hours independently at an approved field-placement site.
