About this courseSkip About this course
Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) have become an essential instrument for Brazil's productive, economic and social growth. However, when developing and programming PPPs, restrictions are observed in the technical capabilities of those responsible, especially in the public sector.
To fill this gap, IDBx developed this course. This is the first MOOC available in Portuguese on the topic of PPPs, their planning and implementation in development projects in Brazil.
This course seeks to share experiences from international institutions with the aim of helping to reduce knowledge gaps in the effective use of PPPs, offering ideas, solutions and lessons learned to solve challenges and strengthen the technical and administrative capacity of the public sector in Brazil.
The content of this MOOC applies to different sectors such as infrastructure, health, education, broadband and the tax sector, among others.
To this end, the course makes selected readings, videos, case studies and other learning resources available to participants.
The course is based on the contents of the Reference Guide on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) version 3.0, developed and published in 2020 by the IDB, World Bank (WB) and Asian Development Bank (ADB).
