Gunnar Colleen

Gunnar joined the CPC Learning Network as a Graduate Research Assistant in February 2021 while pursuing an MPH in Population and Family Health at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health with a certificate in Public Health Research Methods. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA where he was born and raised.

Prior to enrolling at Columbia, Gunnar worked as a program manager at the Urban Indian Health Institute where he coordinated epidemiologic projects serving urban American Indian and Alaska Native communities. Gunnar is passionate about reducing violence and injuries and supporting healthy communities by addressing the societal context of wellbeing.
