The course is divided into 10 modules. The first module is an introduction, in which you will learn how to navigate the course, using the EdX platform and how to complete the reflective exercises both individually and within your peer group community. The last module provides a re-cap of your learning and includes a course exam.

  • Recognise the different purposes of communication and analyse its levels of meaning.
  • Develop conscious awareness of verbal and non-verbal communicative cues.
  • Explore the interplay between culture and communication habits.

Cultural Identity and Self-awareness:

  • Analyse personal cultural influences and understand the impact of identity on communication.
  • Define, analyse, and reflect on culture from a personal perspective.

Cultural Influence on Communication Styles:
