Choose the right forecasting method for all kinds of demand patterns and sales data. Learn how to deal with randomness and low forecastability; missing data, outliers, and overfitting. Separate forecasting myths from reality and mitigate the risk of inaccurate forecasts.

    Learn how a Make-and-Sell organization can become Demand-Driven through sensing demand signals, analyzing consumer demand data in real time, improving short-term forecast accuracy, and articulating an effective supply network response. By the end of the course, you will also become well versed in demand shaping and automated replenishment programs that reduce shortages and increase profitability.

    The CFDP Exam is comprised of 70 questions an problems to be solved in 2 hours. The passing score for the exam is 70%. The exam is designed to allow the learner to demonstrate deep understanding of all practices, topics, definitions, and strategies embedded within the CFDP Program. Passing the CFDP Exam demonstrates that the learner has successfully gained industry relevant knowledge and will be recognized as an ISCEA Certified Forecaster and Demand Planner.

    • Aligning supply and demand has never been more important, yet challenging. Anticipating with the forward-looking skills and knowledge of an ISCEA Certified Forecaster and Demand Planner – CFDP, is essential to achieve that goal.
    • A demand planner’s salary is determined by a number of factors, including education, experience, and job location. In the US it ranges between $48,000 and $107,250.
    • Demand Planners determine how much product/material/finished goods need to be manufactured, produced, or purchased. Their forecasts can significantly reduce both overproduction and underproduction which impact an organization's bottom line.
    • Demand Planner Duties include developing the final demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation, playing a key role in monthly S&OP development, and developing collaborative plans and forecasts with customer representatives.
