The Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI) is the recognized beacon of knowledge for the IsDB Group, creating and disseminating knowledge, and supporting evidence-based decisions that enable and accelerate sustainable development of our communities around the world.
Established in 1981 as the Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI), the Institute was renamed as IsDBI in 2021 with the objective of aligning it with the IsDB Group’s emerging priorities and enabling the Institute to effectively lead the delivery of innovative knowledge-based solutions for sustainable development.
Part of the Institute’s mission is to build human capital and nurture the talents of future entrepreneurs. In this respect, with highly experienced teams of vibrant scholars and experts in Islamic economics and development, the Institute delivers innovative training and learning programs for the benefit of diverse audiences globally.
