About me

Lisa B. Robinson holds a PhD in music theory from Yale University and a BM in music theory and composition from the University of Maryland. She was principal writer of the apps Juilliard String Quartet: An Exploration of Schubert's "Death and the Maiden" and Juilliard Open Studios, as well as the author and editor of A Living Legacy: Historic Stringed Instruments at The Juilliard School (Amadeus Press, 2006). Dr. Robinson has taught courses in music theory at Yale, the University of North Carolina, and Juilliard. She was a contributor to The New Grove Dictionary of Women Composers and has written program notes for the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, American String Quartet, and other ensembles.
