Matthew Roche

Matthew Roche is a Senior Program Manager in Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise Group, where he focuses on enterprise information management, crowdsourced metadata, and data source discovery. Matthew currently works on Azure Data Catalog; previously he has worked on Power BI, SQL Server Integration Services, Master Data Services, and Data Quality Services. Before joining Microsoft in 2008 he was a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for SQL Server, and worked as a data warehousing and business intelligence consultant and trainer. When not enabling the world to get more value from its data, he enjoys reading, baking, and competitive longsword combat.
