Rick Kwan

Dr Rick Kwan is an Assistant Professor with the School of Nursing in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPolyU). He is a registered nurse who specializes in gerontology and teaches gerontological nursing. His research area covers frailty, cognitive impairment, and geron-technology. He focuses on the feasibility of using technology to measure the daily activities of older people with mild cognitive impairment and on integrating technology in behavioural modification programmes for managing frailty. His most recent research programme is aimed at developing and evaluating m-health interventions to ameliorate cognitive frailty in older people in community settings. Administratively, he is currently the programme leader of the Master of Nursing programme.
