Ronald Hanson

Ronald Hanson is a pioneer in quantum information technology and since 2017 is the scientific director of QuTech in Delft. During his doctoral research, he locked individual electrons into semiconductor structures and manipulated them. He launched a line of research into special defects in diamond. More recently, he developed a technique for picking up and positioning diamond nanoparticles with nanometric precision.
