Professor Alan Lawton has a background in politics and philosophy and has held professorial positions in the UK, Australia and the Netherlands.
He has 40 years experience as a university academic and has been teaching Masters level students, primarily MBAs, for over 30 years. He has produced over 150 scholarly outputs, including nine books, primarily in the fields of public sector management and organisational ethics.
He has published articles in leading journals including Journal of Business Ethics, Public Administration Review and Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory.
Alan has extensive experience of working with organisations to develop their ethical cultures and has advised governments in Europe and Africa on codes of conduct and integrity systems.
