About me

BSc. Physiotherapy (PolyU), MBA in Health Care (CUHK), MMedSc. (HKU), Prof. Dip. Acupuncture (HKBU) Alex is a Senior Clinical Associate (Physiotherapy) and the Clinical Coordinator of BSc (Hons) PT and MPT of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Master’s degree in Medical Science from The University of Hong Kong and Master’s degree in Business Administration (Health Care) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has also obtained post-graduate training in acupuncture, manual therapy and work rehabilitation. Prior to joining PolyU, he was a Manager of Clinical Services of a group of private clinics. Alex is currently the Chairperson of the Promotion and Public Relations Subcommittee of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association and the Chairman of Occupational Safety, Health and Rehabilitation Specialty Group of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association. He has extensive clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, ergonomic assessment, work rehabilitation and functional capacity evaluation. His professional interest is the field of acupuncture, musculoskeletal physiotherapy and work rehabilitation.
