Ann Mertens

Ann Mertens is working as Endocrinologist at the Department of Endocrinology at the University Hospital in Leuven, Belgium. In her clinical work she is mainly focusing on the treatment of lipid disorders, metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes, obesity and bariatric surgery. In her academic position she teaches classes at the faculty of Medicine at the KU Leuven. She is also supervisor and mentor/coach of trainees in internal medicine and endocrinology.
