Annette Killmer

Annette Killmer is the Operations Senior Advisor for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)’s Climate Change and Sustainable Development Sector. In this role, she advises on strategic, operational and technical aspects of the IDB’s sustainability agency, collaborating across the Bank on IDB’s work on sustainable cities, urban development, rural development, agriculture, tourism, environment, disaster risk management and climate change. Prior to her appointment as the Sustainability Sector’s Advisor, Ms. Killmer was the Lead Natural Resources Specialist at the IDB’s Representation in Brazil, coordinating the Bank’s portfolio in environment, tourism and agriculture in the country. She holds a Ph.D. and a Masters in Environmental Science & Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences from Oxford University.
