About me

Carmen Paz-Aparicio es Doctora en Dirección de Empresas por la Universidad de Oviedo. Actualmente es Profesora Titular de Organización de Empresas en la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid y Directora de la Cátedra de Investigación "Liderazgo y Diversidad" de la UC3M, Fundación CEOE y Fundación Adecco en el marco de la Alianza #CEOPorLaDiversidad (https://www.uc3m.es/investigacion/catedraceoporladiversidad). Posee el Certificado I3, concedido en 2021 por su trayectoria investigadora destacada (Ministerio de Universidades). Del 2009 al 2012 fue profesora visitante de Management en el College of Charleston (SC, USA). Posee experiencia profesional e internacional de 10 años, en multinacionales. Ha vivido y trabajado en España, Reino Unido, Francia, Suiza y Estados Unidos.

Su actividad docente se centra en el ámbito de la Dirección Internacional de Empresas, la Dirección Estratégica, de Personas, el Liderazgo y el Comportamiento Organizativo. Es autora de dos capítulos de libro, en manuales de referencia en el ámbito del Offshoring y de la Dirección Internacional de Recursos Humanos.

Carmen Paz-Aparicio is currently Associate Professor of Management at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the Holder of the Chair of Leadership and Diversity from UC3M-Fundación CEOE-Fundación Adecco within the Alliance #CEOPorLaDiversidad (https://www.uc3m.es/research/catedraceoporladiversidad). She holds a PhD in Business Management from University of Oviedo. She also holds the I3 Certificate, awarded in 2021 for her outstanding research career (Ministry of Universities, Government of Spain). From 2009 to 2012 she was a Visiting Professor of Management at the College of Charleston School of Business (SC, USA). She has 10 years of professional and international experience in multinationals. She has lived and worked in Spain, UK, France, Switzerland and USA.

Her teaching activity is focused on International Business, Strategic Management, People Management, Leadership and Organizational Behavior. She is the author of two book chapters in reference manuals in the field of Offshoring and International Human Resources Management.
