Daphne Cheung

Dr Daphne Cheung is a gerontological nursing scientist with rich experience in community care. She was involved in setting up a nurse-led clinical service about cognitive assessment in the HKPolyU. She has been teaching gerontological courses to students of various disciplines. She is teaching Gerontological Nursing in Acute Care Settings, and the Care of Older Persons with Cognitive Impairment at the post-graduate level. Her major research interests are about frailty, dementia care, and caregiver support. She is a leading researcher in the development of dyadic psychosocial interventions involving both individuals with cognitive impairment and their family members, which have had a significant impact on the community.
