Donata Bonassisa

Donata Bonassisa has over 25 years’ teaching experience in primary, secondary, adult and cultural education, and has taught at the University of Sassari (Italy), Queen's University (Canada), the University of Ottawa (Canada) and the University of British Columbia UBCx Extended Learning (Canada).

Donata has developed numerous distance education programs, and has been extensively involved in course development for the University of British Columbia (UBC), and led a major UBC Learning Management System Transition.

Donata speaks five languages and enjoys meeting people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. She is excited by the opportunity that distance education gives us to learn and share knowledge with one another globally.
