About me

Dr. James GARRISON is an Associate Professor in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Purdue University, with courtesy appointments in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Environmental and Ecological Engineering. Prior to his academic position, he had a 12-year career with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), first at the Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA, and later at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1997. He also holds a BS from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MS from the Stanford University. Research interests of Prof. GARRISON include Earth Remote Sensing using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and signals of opportunities.
