Michalle Gal

Dr. Michalle Gal is a senior lecturer in the Cultural Studies Unit, Shenkar. Her main fields of publications and research include aesthetics and the philosophy of art and design, the philosophy of language, and visual culture. Dr. Gal is active in the international community for aesthetics, co-edits volumes on aesthetics and the study of culture and art and design, organized international research groups and conferences, and appeared in many. She is the author of "Aestheticism: deep formalism and the emergence of modernist aesthetics" (2015).
