Peter Watson

Dr. Peter Watson is a Professor of Pathology at the University of British Columbia; and the Director of PHSA Biobanking & Biospecimen Research Services (BBRS) at BC Cancer. He trained in Medicine at Cambridge University UK and Pathology at the University of Manitoba Canada. For more than 25 years he has combined a clinical practice as a breast pathologist with research interests in the molecular pathology of breast cancer, and in the discipline of biobanking. He co-leads the Canadian Tissue Repository Network (CTRNet) and is deputy editor for the official journal of the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) Biopreservation and Biobanking.
