Eden Haverfield

Eden Haverfield, PhD, FACMG is an ABMG-certified Clinical Molecular Geneticist. Eden works at Invitae Corporation, a genetic information company that specializes in genetic diagnostics for hereditary disorders. Before joining Invitae, Eden was Director of the Whole Exome Sequencing Program at GeneDx and prior to that, she was Assistant Director of the Genetic Services Laboratory at the University of Chicago. She received her B.A. in Biological Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. Eden completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics before completing her ABMG-accredited clinical molecular genetics training at the University of Chicago.
