About Me

Mr. Dykema’s practice focuses on intellectual property, and he has represented clients in a wide variety of IP and corporate matters, including patent and trademark litigation, patent and trademark prosecution, and various commercial transactions. Mr. Dykema also has extensive technical experience, including in computer operating systems, software engineering, network and data communication, electronics, and microcontrollers. Mr. Dykema has represented U.S. and international clients in connection with the litigation, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement of patent, copyright, and trademark rights in a wide range of industries including cellular communications, defense systems, microelectronics, CMOS image sensors, embedded systems, social networking, image recognition, speech recognition, operating systems, virtual machines, DNA sequencing, fiber optics, signal processing, telecommunications, and cosmetic products. Erik attended Carnegie Mellon University and received a degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering; and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where he graduated cum laude.
