Larraín has edited and authored fifteen books and more than 140 academic publications, among them Macroeconomics , The Economics ofContemporary Latin America , and Macroeconomics in the Global Economy which was co-authored with economist Jeffrey Sachs, and has been translated into ten languages.

About me

Felipe Larraín was Chile's Finance Minister from 2010 to 2014 and again from 2018 to 2019. He was also Vice President of Chile in February 2014. He is the former Director of the Latin American Center for Economic and Social Policies (CLAPES UC) and Professor of Economics at Universidad Católica de Chile. He holds a PhD (1985) and MA (1983) in Economics from Harvard University, and BA in Economics from Universidad Católica de Chile (1981). He has received several awards and honors, including being named one of 100 Most Influential World Leaders by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), in 2015. Larraín is a member of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Leadership Council.
