Francesca Galgano is Full Professor of History of Roman Private and Public Law , at Federico II University, Naples, Italy; coordinator of Equal opportunities Committee, Law dept., Federico II University; coordinator of the International agreement with Univ. Tunis El Manar; member of the Internationality Committee, Law Dept., Federico II University; in the scientific board of M.U.N.A. (Mediterranean and Middle East University Network Agreement) and in the Internal Advisory Board of Aurora Unina-European Universities Alliance.
Director of the editorial series “Cultura delle differenze. Diritto, Conoscenza, Formazione/ Culture of differences. Law, Science, education” edited by FedOA University Press since 2019; director of the review Campania Sacra , edited by Pontifical Theological Faculty of Southern Italy, St. Thomas, Naples; member of many international editing committees and scientific boards of law reviews and editorial series; member of the principal Italian and international scientific Associations of History of Law, Classics, Latin culture. Her main teaching and research interests are: Roman Law, Byzantine Law, Canonic Law Sources, Roman heritage in European juridical Culture, Testamentary Dispositions, Roman Family Law. Recent post Graduate Courses Taught (Master and PhD.): Equal Opportunities, Law and Society (Human Sciences Dept. Federico II Univ.); Minors and Family (Pontifical Theological Faculty of Southern Italy, St. Thomas, Naples, 2020); Violence against women (University SuorOrsola Benincasa, Naples, 2024).
