Frank Washburn

Frank Washburn's career has been a multifaceted one. In research, Frank has both worked on cancer proteomic research at the National Institute of Health and tracked endangered monk seals for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. After completing an undergraduate degree at Harvard University, Frank turned to video game development; he spent five years at Harmonix Music Studios, the creators of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises, working on games that were released on Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo platforms before forming his own independent game development studio, Suppressive Fire Games.

After the release of his first game, Frank turned to education, and has since worked with Learn Ventures to develop innovative coursework for both high school and undergraduate students.
