
Guest speaker, Director of Curatorial Affairs at National Museum of Qatar
Dr. Haya Al-Thani is a PhD holder and currently the Director of Curatorial Affairs at the National Museum of Qatar. Dr. Al-Thani received her BA in history from Qatar University, her MA in art history from King Saud University, and PhD in history from the University of London College. From 2006 to 2011, she was an assistant professor of ancient history at Qatar University.
Dr. Al-Thani joined the National Museum of Qatar in 2011 and has served as the Director of Curatorial Affairs since 2016. Her published research is rooted in the field of the Arabian Gulf archaeology and heritage. Among her notable works and lectures are the following:
