Hossein Javadi

Postdoctoral Researcher at Universitat Politècnica de València

About me

Dr. Hossein Javadi is a senior mechanical engineer and postdoctoral researcher at the Universitat Politècnica de València, specializing in shallow geothermal energy systems, thermal energy storage, and advanced heat exchanger design. He earned his BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Mazandaran University of Science and Technology, Iran, and completed his PhD at the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain. His doctoral research involved an experimental and numerical study of the thermo-fluid dynamics of borehole heat exchangers incorporating advanced materials, optimized for borehole thermal energy storage (BTES) applications. He has actively collaborated on international research efforts and contributed to multiple EU-funded projects focused on advancing sustainable renewable energy solutions, with numerous publications in leading scientific journals and conferences. Dr. Javadi’s research interests include renewable energy, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), heat transfer, shallow geothermal energy (SGE), heat exchangers, thermal response testing (TRT), nanofluids, phase change materials (PCM), and numerical simulation.
