John Ryan

John Ryan has experience in various aspects of tax administration including tax system development and reforms and retired as a Deputy Commissioner of the Australian Taxation Office after 40 years’ service. John has worked as a short-term expert with the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department for ten years participating in technical assistance missions and capability development in Africa, Asia, China, Europe and the South Pacific. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Sydney, Australia).
