Kathy Tao

Kathy Tao is a Principal Online Course Developer at MathWorks. She earned her Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of California at Irvine. Prior to joining MathWorks, she amassed over 20 years of experience in mechanical design and product development across several hard drive manufacturers. Her work in simulating the dynamics of disk drive components has led to multiple patents, particularly in the area of resonance tuning for hard disk drive suspensions.
