Professor Mandy Kader Kondé is the Chair of the Foundation on Health & Sustainable Development (FOSAD) and Executive Director of the Center of Research on priority diseases (CEFORPAG) in Guinea Conakry. He has over 40 years of experience cutting across academia, clinical trials, public health management, and epidemic preparedness and response around the world. He played a crucial role in the 2014-2016 Ebola outbreak, chairing the Guinea Ebola Research Commission. He served as co-principal investigator for several clinical trials including the Guinea rVSV Ebola vaccine Phase 3 trial. He is currently member of COVID-19 Guinea Scientific Council and he’s the Africa lead for IDRC Project “Strengthening Ebola Research Ethics” with Western University (Ontario Canada).
