Heads the research unit In vivo models within the Service Immune Response of Sciensano.

Contributes to studies about innate and adaptive immune responses induced by infection with M. tuberculosis and development of vaccines for tuberculosis in animal models (mice and rats).

Experienced Senior Researcher, with a MSc in Chemistry (1998) and a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences (2005).
